Sara Abo-Harb started singing at five years of age in her elementary school talent show at Manoa School. Since then, she has grown to become a professionally trained singer that fuels her passion for performing in front of a live crowd. She has participated in shows throughout High School, and was nominated for A Cappie Award for her vocal performance in The Wiz. She won third place overall in Delco Idol in 2010. She has participated and won 2nd runner up in the Miss Philadelphia Pageant in 2014 and won the overall Talent Award scholarship. Since then she has attended University of the Arts where she continued her vocal training. She has performed in many different venues including the Make Music Philly in 2014 at The Philadelphia Art Museum, and for the Haverford music festival and township day parades. She was also invited to perform at Harlem’s infamous stage The Apollo for multiple events. In 2014, she performed as a contestant on Apollo Live on BET. Sara finished in the top 4 for her episode. One of her most memorable experiences also includes performing for the Philadelphia Phillies, where she sang God Bless America. Today, Sara is currently working on developing her own record, and continues to write music. She is also an advocate for Autism Awareness, and raises money for different organizations, including her fundraiser, Rock’n4Autism.
