The short Ami Yares is a 12-string guitar wielding, world traveling folk musician, teacher and peace builder with a knack for making music that moves you physically, spiritually, and politically. Described as cross between “Randy Newman and David Broza (AXS),” Ami’s music merges his Jersey roots with the sounds of his Middle Eastern branches in a yet-to-be-named fusion of styles. A little more, if you’d like Ami’s performances and educational programming have been featured components of the US Department of State’s diplomatic missions in Israel and Germany, Seeds of Peace, Harvard University, Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
