Vincent always knew that sooner or later it would come down to love songs. While growing up he enjoyed listening to variety of musical styles including artists ranging from easy listening favorites Barry Manilow, Bread, The Carpenters and John Denver to more heavy hitting artists of the day including Led Zeppelin, Kiss and even progressive rock outfits Kansas, Yes and Genesis. Whether she has a stethoscope in her ears, or a piano at her fingertips, her heart is in tune with all the ways healing can happen: laughter, introspection, sharing stories, cathartic tears. Her passion is writing and performing original songs that run the gamut from Broadway-style patter to pop/folk/jazz to melodic ballads. A native Philadelphian, she started playing piano at the age of seven and later studied vocal performance at Temple University. Friday October 20, 2017 7:30 PM   Mike Vargas is a Christian blues performer song writer. He was born and raised in South Philadelphia, the youngest son of the first Puerto Rican Mummer. His family is musically and artistically gifted on both his parents side. As a small child he idolized his older brother Eddie and wanted to be like him, who played harmonica and percussion. He wanted to play harmonica like his brother, so at the age of six he hounded his mother to no avail till she got him a harmonica, he has played that instrument since. Later he taught himself guitar, flute,recorder, pan pipe and other things. His music is a mixture of the different musical styles that he was raised with, Rock, Blues,and some R and B with a little string band thrown in for flavor. The group consists of Adolphus, Regina, their son Hakeem and bass player Michael Bay. According to lead singer Regina Adams, “God has called us to do his work by singing and playing instruments to praise his name and save souls.” They have performed at numerous Christian Coffeehouses and Festivals throughout the region.
