Many Rivers is quartet of veteran songwriters form northern Chester County who, after years of playing shows together, are now playing as one band. Chris Adams is a trained classical guitarist, while Sandy Pluta plays country slide guitar. Her husband, Paul Pluta is a rock-a-billy bass player, while Jake Michael throws in a bit of jazz guitar. The result is all original music that sounds like Bach and George Benson playing western swing on Joni Mitchell’s back porch. For indeed, there are Many Rivers, but they all flow together.
