Rockdale – a small town in southern Delaware County where time has moved a little more slowly than most places in the area. Where traditional gospel and bluegrass music have come together in the sound of the Rockdale Boys. This is the Rockdale Boys 2nd appearance at our venue. Strong vocal harmony and solid instrumental arrangements make this music joyful, uplifting and just plain fun to hear. So get your toe tapping shoes on and come along for the experience. The Rockdale Boys have been together 13 years, and perform at regional churches, camp-meetings and bluegrass festivals.

This is Out of Darkness 4th appearance at our venue. They sprung to life in the early part of 2016 but it was many years ago when a mutual friend introduced the three at a church in Springfield, PA where Fran was pastoring. Many years had passed before they met again to form Out of Darkness. Rich, who is primarily a drummer and quickly learning guitar, began playing drums at the ripe old age of 11. Lisa has been performing since she was 12 years old and Fran has been playing guitar for over 40 years. One thing these three have in common: Their desire to honor the Lord with their music began around the same time.
The name, Out of Darkness describes Rich, Lisa and Fran’s lives in that once they were blind but now they see. God has taken them from darkness to light and “out of the darkness” and their desire is to spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they journey through life on earth, through music and through conversation. Most of their music is Christ-centered and they also perform some popular hit songs from their youth.
